Martand Devsthan was constructed in 1832. Malhari Martand is the ancestral diety of Holkar rulers. This is located adjacent to the Rajwada and can be easily assessed by a visitor. This was unfortunately destroyed in the riots in 1984 but was later on rebuilt by the efforts of Maharani Uāsha Devi, the President of the Khasgi trust. The temple is a structure complete with beautifully carved wooden pillars built alongside the corridor, a central courtyard, sloping roof, a serene garden and a space dedicated to the family deity.
